Where does it hurt?
Start with where you feel it
Tap a part of the spine to see what can go wrong there, and how we help.
Headaches & migraines
Many headaches start lower down, with tight muscles and stiff joints in the neck and upper back.
Nerves to the arms
The nerves to your arms and hands leave the spine at the base of the neck and run all the way to your fingertips.
Twelve vertebrae, twelve pairs of ribs
The middle of the spine anchors the ribs. Posture, desk work and lifting all land here.
Five big vertebrae
The five largest vertebrae carry the most weight, and the low back is where back pain is most common.
Gentle by design
The Activator: a lighter touch
Dr. Florian uses Activator Methods, a chiropractic technique built around a small, spring-loaded instrument. Instead of twisting or rolling, each adjustment is one quick, light impulse to one precise spot.
A small, spring-loaded instrument. One quick, light impulse to one precise spot. No twisting, no rolling.
An Activator visit
Four steps, start to finish
You lie comfortably, face down, on the adjusting table.
Your leg lengths are compared. Often one seems slightly shorter than the other.
You move into easy positions, like raising an arm, that use the muscles attached to particular vertebrae. If the leg lengths change, that points to where the problem is.
The hand-held instrument gives a quick, light impulse to each spot that needs it, working from the feet toward the head.
Ready when you are
Feel better, gently.
